National organization endorses Wyatt because he will be a strong voice for equality when elected
Larimer County, CO----Today LGBTQ+ Victory Fund – the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ+ people to public office – endorsed Wyatt Schwendeman-Curtis for Larimer County Clerk & Recorder. The endorsement signals Victory Fund’s confidence that Wyatt is well-positioned to win the clerk’s race and will be a strong voice for equality. Wyatt would be the first member of the LGBTQ+ community elected to the Larmer County Clerk’s office if he wins his race.

LGBTQ+ people remain severely underrepresented in government nationwide – holding just 0.25 percent of elected positions despite representing at least 7.2 percent of the U.S. population, according to LGBTQ+ Victory Institute. As an out LGBTQ+ leader, Wyatt will be an unwavering voice for equality in Larimer County. His priorities in office will include transparency in election data, efficiency in communications and services, accessibility to the rural and disenfranchised communities.
